The commercial aviation industry is in the midst of a technological transition from standard analog controls to the “glass cockpit.” Jeppesen, the primary provider of navigational charts for airlines, is transitioning too.
Working with the Swim UX team I designed the interface which allows pilots to access their navigational charts and a runway “moving map.” The touchscreen UI has a tactile quality appropriate for the flight deck.
